Check out one of the latest text animation videos from Digital Art Effects on Youtube. If you are interested in learning a simple and quick way to create a text animation for your project, check out this blue smoke text animation using Adobe After Effects.

We will be adding this fractal fire to create a fire/smoke text effect. You will also learn how to create keyframes, hide text fill color and change the blending mode of the layer. We will set the blending mode of the layer text to overlay.
Overlay Mode in After Effects - multiplies or screens the input color channel values, depending on whether or not the underlying color is lighter than 50% gray. The result preserves highlights and shadows in the underlying layer.
